PixRestorer is designed for lawful restoration, enhancement, colorization, and upscaling of photographs. This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") explains content and conduct that are not permitted when using the Service. This Policy forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Rights and Permission

You may upload or process an image only if you own it or have all permissions required to do so. You are responsible for respecting privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, and other rights connected with every image, person, or subject you submit.

2. Prohibited Content and Conduct

You must not use PixRestorer to create, upload, edit, restore, transform, or distribute any of the following:

Sexual or exploitative content: pornography, nudity, sexually explicit or suggestive material, sexual violence, or content that exploits, sexualizes, or harms minors.
Violence and gore: graphic violence, extreme injury, gore, glorification of violence, or content intended to threaten or encourage physical harm.
Hate and harassment: hate speech, threats, targeted harassment, or content that promotes discrimination or dehumanizes people based on protected characteristics.
Deepfakes and impersonation: deceptive manipulation of real people, non-consensual intimate imagery, identity fraud, or content falsely presented as an authentic person, event, or endorsement.
Intellectual-property infringement: content that infringes or misuses copyright, trademarks, trade dress, publicity rights, privacy rights, or other proprietary rights.
Illegal or harmful activity: fraud, scams, exploitation, terrorism, instructions for wrongdoing, evasion of law enforcement, or any other unlawful, abusive, or materially harmful use.

The following categories are subject to zero tolerance and, once confirmed, will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to the relevant authorities: content involving child sexual abuse or the sexualization of minors; content that promotes or facilitates terrorism, extremism, or weapons of mass destruction; instructions for violence or self-harm; and non-consensual deepfake or intimate content depicting a real person.

You must not circumvent, probe, disable, or attempt to defeat content-safety checks, rate limits, access controls, or other safeguards. You must not use the Service to scrape outputs at scale, train a competing model without permission, or misrepresent AI-generated results as professional advice or an official record.

3. Safety Checks and Limitations

We screen inputs and outputs with automated content-safety checks. In the browser, uploaded and edited images are classified with the NSFW.js model before processing, and requests that exceed our safety threshold are blocked. Processing requests also rely on the safety filters provided by Replicate and its hosted models. These checks are not guaranteed to identify every prohibited request, and a request passing a check does not make it permitted. We may also review or investigate activity when reasonably necessary to protect users, the Service, or the public.

4. Enforcement

We may refuse or stop processing a request, remove content, restrict features, suspend or permanently terminate an account, or take other appropriate action when we believe this Policy or applicable law has been violated. Credits used for a completed prohibited request are not necessarily restored. We may preserve or disclose information to authorities when required by law or when necessary to address an emergency or suspected illegal activity.

5. Reporting

If you believe content or activity violates this Policy, report it to support@pixrestorer.com with enough detail for us to investigate. Do not send unlawful or sensitive material unless it is necessary for a report and you are authorized to share it.

6. Policy Updates

We may update this Policy as the Service, safety requirements, or applicable law changes. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after an updated Policy takes effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
